They're not elegant looking, more on the sporty side. It's easy to pull on and off. I typically wear size 8 for the width and have a large 16" calf so they are perfect for me. I ordered a size 8 there's a little extra room w/a pair of thin sock there's a little extra room in the toe box. My feet & lower calf have never been warmer. I like pairing them w/a pair of jeggings. I ordered the boots more than 2 weeks before Christmas with 2nd day shipping and they did not arrive in time for Christmas. Altrec took over a week to process and ship. I understand that the holidays are a busy time for shipping but this delay was caused by Altrec not the shipping company. We had to stand around in the snow for a few hours, and everyone's feet were frozen. I didn't feel the cold at all. I use these for snow shoveling also. They are kind of clunky to walk in so I wouldn't want to wear them all day or for long distance walks. But they are great for being outside in cold weather for a few hours. |
