    I purchased these Sorel's for use throughout winter to look snazzy at work (office job) but to also help me not die on the slick sidewalks. They worked wonderfully and I often received compliments. They seem to be waterproof enough and my feet were always warm and dry, but I will say that they lack a little insulation around the ankle.

    I bought these boots from amazon about 6 months ago and could not be happier with them. Quick break in, extremely comfortable, and so far, they seem durable. They survived their first winter in chicago without a problem, and I can be rough on my boots. They aren't quite as warm as I would like when temps get below 20, but that's fixed with a nice pair of wool socks, and also means I can wear them when it gets warm. Overall, I am very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great looking, durable, every day boot.
