    This boot is perfect to wear indoors, yet great tread and warmth for outdoors. I live in WY (big snow!) and hate to switch shoes just to go out for wood. These are ideal. Not too heavy, yet very much ankle support. The toe is not the usual round bumper clunk you get with extreme weather boots, a bit streamlined. AS the other reviews say, they run small. I wear an 8 and got a 9, but I do wear thick socks all the time. They look great, feel great, and ARE great.

    I love these boots--they are very warm and comfortable with a good tread--great for the snowy, icy winters of northern New Mexico. They do run small so order a size up.
