    I love the look and it keeps my feet and toes very warm indeed. However, as you may have seen in other reviews, these boots can not handle icy pavements - it slipped and slided like crazy. I decided to keep them because it's so warm and I ended up raking the bottom to try to create more traction (not much success so far). Where I live, it is mostly snow rather than ice so I can get away with it.

    I typically wear a 9 in most shoes, and ordered a 9 in these boots. They are just big enough that I can wear thick socks, but not too big so that they are ill-fitting. They are comfortable to wear all day, walking around and standing (I'm a teacher). Totally waterproof and warm. (Waterproof up to the top of the brown part.)

    Bought these to be practical in anticipation of a cold wet football season, but was pleasantly surprised by how cute they were! Once the weather gets cool, I plan on wearing them for more than football games! Fit true to size and width, colors bright and vivid! Would buy again.
